I am so excited to be starting a classroom blog. This is a new adventure for me. My goal is to share many of the things that we do here in the classroom. I also hope to that this will help keep you up to date on what’s going on. I have links available to many of the websites that we use here at school as well as parent resources. - This is my eigth year teaching first grade at Maize. I grew up in Wichita and most of my family still lives here. My parents live on a farm in Goddard. Well it isn't a real farm but the name has stuck. My sister and brother-in-law also live in Goddard with their two daughters Taylor and Kenedy and a nephew (3 months). I spend a lot of time spoiling them. In my free time I also play with my dogs, Tazie and Phog. Tazie is a black lab and she thinks she is a princess. Phog is a pitt mix from the Humane Society. He is still a puppy so he keeps me on my feet! In my free time I like to garden. I also like to read and scrapbook.
